If you’ve followed Tigers offseasons closely over the years, you probably know that reporting dates for Spring Training usually don’t become public until after the holidays, sometimes not until mid-January. This year’s dates came out today, and they’re a little early thanks to the World Baseball Classic. Pitchers and catchers will hold their first workout on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The Tigers’ first full-squad workout is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18.

The team’s Spring Training game schedule can be found here. Spring Training single-game tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at tigers.com. Season tickets for the Grapefruit League schedule are already on sale.

This will be the Tigers’ first camp at Lakeland’s renovated ballpark, now known as Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.
