Tuesday’s lineups: Tigers at Twins

Ian Kinsler and Victor Martinez are both out of the lineup. Kinsler is officially in concussion protocol based on symptoms suffered after taking a Trevor Bauer pitch off his helmet on Sunday. He still felt grogginess while riding an exercise bike as part of the concussion test Tuesday, according to head athletic trainer Kevin Rand. Meanwhile, Martinez’s right knee — which also took the impact of a Bauer pitch on Sunday — swelled up, leaving him having trouble simply moving around.

JD 15th from the bottom in base running

Andrew gets it. Swing the bat. Camron does the same. Get aggressive with this guy.

And that’s why Miguel’s gamble was worth it. Next batter pops out. We need to see more of this, and not all from Miguel.

Miggy on the basepaths there is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Cool yes
He almostgotthrownout at every base
He istrying to motivate his mates

Looks like a train on the base path. Keep going Miggy.

McCann makes Brad look like a genius. We’ll take it.

Physics question: Miguel gets barrel to that pitch riding hard and fast into him. How does he do it?

probably pulled his hands inward to barrel it

Upton tied with Kinsler in RBIs( second)

1 1/2

Good one Woody:-) And finally a stress free win. Boyd earns game ball.

Jason, is that your picture taken from your plane? It’s a great shot.

The first one’s out of the way; now 12 more. Again, I’m slobbering all over myself thinking about our 2017 rotation. And I do think ZMan will be a big part of it. But before we get to 2017, let’s see what the Farmer in the Dell can do tomorrow night.
A very sweet win tonight for Mr. Boyd:
1. Everyone in the lineup had a hit and made a positive contribution; first time in a long time. Brad’s jigsaw lineup worked at least one time.
2. Maury Will,s AKA Miggy, dances around the bases.
3. Lowe’s stuff was actually good(fastball at 95).
Kudos to Cam, Miggy, James, and Mr. Boyd. What a difference in performance a week apart. All of his pitches were working well, especially the change to the lefty’s.
Maybe Miggy can will this team through to the end. Hope Ian is back soon. Let VMart rest a few days, and then if we get there, maybe he’ll make a good contribution also.
I doubt we see Nicky until next February. Great Team win.

Great outing for Boyd and a win. The offense came alive like we knew they could.

Pelfrey and Sanchez in the BP, where they belong.

As I recall, the PECOTA projection for the Tigers this year was 81 wins. and a second place finish in the Central.
