Tigers have been on the market for another Starter. Neither MLB nor ESPN say specifically who they are after, or what the team is willing to offer.

Not feeling very confident now, but not giving up yet.

MLBTR has the Tigers looking for a rotation piece. Heyman did not supply details.

Makes sense if they want to compete that they will need another starter. Verlander is three quarters of a great pitcher, Fulmer has been unbelievable, and hopefully Zimm will contribute. After that it is slim pickings. Seems like the Tigers have about 7 fifth starters or non-specialist relievers…

Now Norris only pitches 2 innings? I missed that. Injury? He seems fragile. So many ailments.

Good luck, Alex!

Note to ump… would be awesome if you with this enlarged strike zone gave it to both teams……

Thank you

Wilson can’t throw strikes

Sure could use a DP.

Sure am glad Nick hit that HR, cause Victor looked like he was in pain when he reached 1st base.

Napoli always kills the Tigers…

After all these years they still can’t figure out how to get him out….

Well that was short lived …..

And a double play…argh

1 more at bat but tigers even playing well simply can’t beat this team….not on accident…not even when you catch Cleveland coming off a hellish weekend when you’d hope they could take advantage. I just don’t get it.

Snakebitten three times today: lose Zimmerman, lose Norris, lose the game. Fuller is the only hope in this series, and he’s due for a bumpy ride. Can’t understand why we cant beat the Tribe. It just seems to be the fate this year.:
1. Casty’s HR and 8th. inning defensive play; the throw; well just call it a lucky bounce,or two, or maybe three.
2. Alex’s three pitch sixth.
3. Though we lost, we did not get embarrassed in this game as we were in the first 9.
Had a chance to tie even in the ninth.
Kufos th Nick, Moya, Wilson, and even Lowe; though he was hit hard, his ERA actually dropped some for the first time in tww months. You might want to schedule a ROOK Tournament during tomorrow’s game; Anabal returns to the mound in an emergency start. Dear Lord, Help us.

Zimmermann vs Tribe 17.18 BAA 474 .500 .947 1.447 3.1 IP
Sánchez: 8,18 BAA 310 .385 .552 .936 14.1
Fulmer 8.31 BAA 435 .480.739 1.219 4.1 IP
It does not matter who pitches. All them has been lighted up

Not a first, the 2006 Tigers went 11-0 vs KC. 9-0 at Kaufmann Stadium. Ended 14-4

Show me a team that went 0-10 against one team but still played .602 ball against everyone else. That’s the difference. This is just one of those weird baseball things.

Maybe Red Sox-Yankees did it; I wouldn’t even know how to look it up.

The closest for the Tigers? 56 % .1998. Lost season series to Twins 1-11 Different division of course. 46-38 vs the West. 45 -27 vs the rest of the West.Tigers ended second 1 GB

Norris, recurrent injury, the same in August 2015. Third as Tiger: twice oblique and once, back

Just when you thought Rondon had found it, he lost it.

Moya and Castellanos but where was there any help from the “veterans?”

We brought back one untouchable, let’s go get Andrew Miller.

expensive, pretty expensive

Everybody needs to show up tonight. These outcomes vs the Indians have to stop.
