Tuesday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Brewers

Just recalled Tyler Collins gets the first start in the post-VMart lineup against Brewers right-hander Jimmy Nelson, who’s allowing a .205 (18-for-88) average to right-handed hitters this season compared to .270 (17-for-63) against left-handed batters. Bryan Holaday, meanwhile, catches Anbal Sanchez again after his eight innings of one-run ball last Thursday against the Twins.

The Brewers, meanwhile, bring in Gerardo Parra, who had Sanchez’s numbers when Sanchez was in Miami.

Jason’s addition, this year, of the the vintage logo’s is AWESOME!

Thank you! I was waiting forever for feedback on it. I was about to give up.

Still think Iggy should be higher in the lineup.

I think Ian is going to go deep…………………tonight!
I don’t expect Collins to last too long before they give Fields a shot.
An OF of Cespedes/Gose/Fields, looks pretty intriguing.

Crappy cold weather. Hoping we can get more than 2 runs off the Cy Young prospect they are throwing up there tonight. Ho hum baseball.

Collins and Fields are still MiLB. Save your souls and quit dreaming for another year or two until one or the other is ready.

For those who love Lobstein, my heart is with you. But his ERA remains above 4 and his quality starts of 3 runs per 6 innings mean little. Heck that means he has a 4.5 ERA. The best I can say about the guy is he gives the Tigers a chance. No command, poor velocity and little speed differential. Wake up fans. He is not MadDog.

Where is this hard hitting line-up….all these ground balls….DP’s, K’s
Back to the drawing board, righy Wally?
