Monday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Braves

This looks a lot like the lineup to expect next Monday, including Yoenis Cespedes batting behind J.D. Martinez.

Bruce Rondon is on the pitching list for the game, but Brad Ausmus said he wasn’t sure if he’d be pitching. Joe Nathan, who was off the last few days dealing with a cut thumb, is definitely pitching.

Game is on FSD. Mario & Rod music to my ears! Go Tigers!

The spring has not revealed any more confidence in the bull-pen for me.

And now Joba his doing his best to make a monkey out of DD’s decision to bring him back when it was pretty clear there was no interest in him.
It will be hateful to see Joba & Joe once again.

CHAMBERLAIN =100% LOST.

what a terrific bullpen DD has gotten for us this year! With MIGGY, JD and CESPEDES…….tell me again why we resigned VMART instead of fixing the BULLPEN!!!

Signing Victor had nothing to do with the bullpen.

Never thought I’d be saying this, but Mr. Dave has taken a shaky bullpen this past winter and………made it worse.

Geez Joba – not a good sign this close to opening day

Right now, the problem is Verlander´s contract and his overload
The bullpen main problem remains Nathan and his hacked ball

well money spent is money spent – and if you spend it on x and not y – i think it’s ok to complain about how there is too much x and not enough y.
.
with that said, i do agree better signings with the “bullpen budget” could have been made. And yes, the elephant is Nathan – and that was last year.

Gorzelanny, Krol, Joba and Nathan? That is not gonna get it done.

rather, that is gonna get $hit blown

Time will tell on the bull pen . DD had alot of time to get it fixed . As we approach openig day it is hard for me to remain positive .

Joba needs the adrenaline, Ausmus said .Yeah, that is why he failed after Scherzer left that playoff game

With the lingering injuries to Miggy, VMart & JV along with the bullpen issues, they will most likely play below .500 ball for the first 30-45 days. The schedule is tough to start the season. My guess is they go 9-14 in April at best. Injuries are part of the game, not fixing bullpens is stupidity!
