Thursday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Orioles

Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez are back in the lineup after playing yesterday. Alex Avila gets back behind the plate, while J.D. Martinez is in right field. In fact, other than Rajai Davis in center field, this is pretty much a regular lineup for the Tigers’ second Fox Sports Detroit broadcast in as many days.

Meanwhile, the former Tiger reunions keep on coming at Joker Marchant Stadium. One day after Don Kelly batted cleanup for the visiting team, it’s Delmon Young’s turn. Also on Baltimore’s travel roster is former Tigers reliever Pat McCoy, claimed off waivers by the O’s last fall.

Not sweating Iggy’s BA. He’s getting the bat on the ball, at least. It might be a month or two before he get’s it going or even All-Star break as Dan mentioned. He’ll be alright. Hasn’t seen live pitching in over a year.

It will be sooner than later for Iggy’s bat. Wow, Miggy seems to have his timing down today with a single, HR and Sac fly for 3 RBI’s. Price was cruising until the 4th when he gave up 3 runs but he’s gone 7 innings.

Nathan gives up a tater in the 8th to tie it @ 4-4, but VMart finds his stroke and hits a 2-run HR off Gausman in bottom of the 8th! i don’t know about Nathan, what a waste of $20MM!

Should have added about Nathan, was a Tiger killer, still a Tiger killer!!!

Yoenis had a great game, also.

Agreed on Cespedes. We might need to get used to this, Soria saves a game for Nathan. Perez is playing with a sense of urgency this spring.

Yes, Hernan has had a very good spring especially in the hitting dept. Maybe he’s found his stroke. Cespedes made two great catches in the field. I love great D. He can wear all the gold chains he wants, as far as I’m concerned. Carols wore rosaries and so did Magglio with their pockets out.

Carlos.

Nice to get another win . Both Miggy and Victor looked good . Lets hope they stay healthy once they break camp. If you unable to make it to Lakeland you are really missing out .
