“I’m not going to comment on my personal life,” Verlander said in the Tigers’ clubhouse before tonight’s game against the Cleveland Indians. “I never have, and I never plan on it. I keep my personal life personal.”
Both IOs and Android send the information to the cloud by default. You must uncheck to keep the phone from storing the backup in the cloud.

that stuff is between me, and my cloud!

He doesn’t have to talk. The pictures tell you everything you even or ever or didn’t want to know.

Hey! You! Get off of my cloud.

i have a cell phone and it does have a camera on it. never used it though. use my phone to make phone calls, and occasionally check the time.

You mean to say I have photos in the cloud? Man, if my stuff ever gets hacked, Verlander is going to be very ticked off at me.

And your WiFi password too

On some dark and dreary day this December, I’m going to suggest that Miggy sit one out.

I feel like this situation has come to a compromise: you can DH. But really, he can’t run and heal the ankle.
But the silver lining might be: Miggy starts hitting as a DH, for damn near the first time.

Just got back and able to watch the condensed version of the game.
I don’t know haw the got any hits off of Price
Kinsler is really coming around
Carerra is getting important time in but needs to be cautious and not sell out too much
Torii two hop lived up to his name
Thought for sure they would PR for Miggy in the 7th
VMart is our MVP
Gotta do better with bases loaded (Casty and Torii)
Avila getting more comfortable at the plate-even tried to go off-field
The Rookies are probably more excited about their performance than I am.

I’m sorry ( not really) but they took that hit away from Miggy in the 3rd and said it was an error instead of a double. I call bull. Yes there was an error that made it a double …should of been a single with a one base error. Aviles was never going to catch that and by diving made it an error when he wasn’t even close to it. In my opinion they are just trying to keep the Cy Young Contendor a Contendor by taking away 3 earned runs away from him. I call bull on that and they should protest that.

OK-Tiger fans have been exposed now to two of their stars naked in the public eye.
Greenberg, Gehringer and Kell must be turning over in their graves. Meanwhile real men, like Kaline and Trammel are wondering where the good old days have gone. There is something to be said about having too much money

Didn’t Ty Cobb kill a guy? Denny McLain went to jail multiple times. I guess we all choose what memories we want to remember.

The georgia peach – NAAWWWW – guy was a saint.

GK–you may be right and what about the play ruled against Porcello’s ERA on the fly ball to JD the other day?
Even in this day and age where official rulings can be changed afterwards, official scorers are far less competent than they once were.

Pretty bad call in 0-2

Oh boy what a waste bases loaded nobody out and you manage 1 stinking run. Pathetic

Here we go again—can’t hit with the bases loaded. 3 guys failed to put the ball in play with nobody out.
Just gave the Indians a good chance to win this game.

Um and thats an infield hit and not an error?

Dan & Jim said it was an error.

This strike zone is something else! Its a strike. .no wait its a ball. How’s anyone supposed to hit or pitch when it is this inconsistent

You gotta be kidding me another blown opportunity. Gonna be one of those nights huh. ?

The Lobstein Advantage is keeping us in the game, so far.

soooo much less annoying than the Bernstein advantage, too

Lobstein cant complain about the zone 8 SO

No its just bad all the way around. ..very inconsistent

Lobstein didn’t make a horrible pitch to Santana either. I think the slider may have
been a better choice but Alex wanted a high fastball and Santana is just a good bad ball hitter.
5th inning here and we got a man on 3rd and nobody out. I’d even take a stinkin’ double play

Well not now after that K.
Agreed- the umping has been poor.

Please, no more squandering.

These guys just can’t put their bat on the ball when it matters tonight

And again blow it…is that 3 or 4 times now? Unacceptable. I’m having serious anger issues right now.

Cy Carrasco! lol – naw we’ve gotten some hits….just not with RISP. Astros leading the Angels in the 3rd…..KC tied with Tex in the 3rd…..seattle later tonight.

i told ya’ll we’ll get some late inning runs….imma hold to that

Alex you could smell that pitch coming.

Boy that was a far too aggressive AB by Castellanos.
He’s had pretty good at bats the last two weeks but reverted on that one–just like yesterday with the bases loaded.

10 Ks are you kidding me? We didn’t even have to give up Fister for this guy!

CC is out–I think a bad move by Tito. Gotta take advantage of this.
Time to steal a base Rajai.

Do not do the Torii -Two Hop

And yet again…….5th time. Do whatever it takes to not score

Time to move JD to RF where he belongs

How many times has Torii done this with a man on 3rd. It’s uncanny.

Unbelievable!! Don’t know if I’ve seen this many stranded runners!!

I would have had Kinsler stealing. It is the only way the Tigers are going to score tonight-they can’t leave it up to clutch hiting to do the job.
Who knows what happens if you force Gomes to throw to 2nd?

if’s and but’s, fellas, if’s and but’s

maybe trade Lobstein for Fister in the offseason? 😉

Tom Gage:
Hitters 11-for-84 vs. #Indians Carrasco in his last 4 starts – #Tigers 10-for-26 tonight

Alex is hurt. Take him out.

Very frustrating game. AlAl was very off and we’re lucky it wasn’t worse when Brad pulled him.
As to stealing and all- many scenarios could have positively developed. A steal, a bad throw, Kinsler thrown out but Rajai steals home etc etc.

Swinging for the fences. Will it work?

Yes, but probably not today.
Perhaps Brad will have contribute with a little strategy.

And again….they blow it 6 times now? TTiger’s are maddening

Dave Hogg
The Tigers, Alex Avila and his family need to think long and hard about his future. He doesn’t need to end up as another CTE story.

Completely agree, it is getting to a point where I cringe when Alex takes one off the mask. He has been abused the last 3 years. Concussions are a terrible thing.

3 of the pitches Hardy threw to Ramirez have been called strikes at times tonight. And obviously at times a ball. Umpire sucks

12 runs and 20 hits last night against a tired Indians team and 1 run and 12 hits tonight through 7 innings. Sheesh this team is frustrating!!

AA couldn’t throw a strike …Hardy caught the same disease

But doing his job. Stranded the runners.

This team is schitzophrenic

Ok Tiger’s are tops in many offensive categories. Yet the strength of this team which is supposed to be a strength is towards the bottom in most pitching categories

Why do we continue to go after bad pitches….if the batter swings and misses at an outside pitch….guess where the next pitch is going to be? further outside!

13 hits and we are actually lucky to have scored a run.
Funny how it works—or doesn’t

If this team loses this it is just a frustrating loss.
If it manages somehow to win it, it would be one of the best wins this season.

I think I know why the Cleveland fans don’t support their players——it’s all the cheesy moustaches on the team.

No more stranding, no more stranding!

What is Rod talking about saying “Miggy seldom strikes out”?
What the hell is Brad doing putting in a power LH bat to PR behind a lead runner?
He is losing a Home Run Opportunity when he has Perez on the bench?

That Gomes is a quality catcher

TOLD YA’LL to wait for the late runs! JD is a BEAST!

One of the biggest wins of the year?—————fingers crossed

Jay Deep Martinez

Don’t argue now Bryan, especially Joe coming in.

KC 2 out 2 strike single in the 8th to go ahead 2-1

Nice play by Victor in recogning where to go on the drag bunt==Miggy probably goes for that one!

yessir that’s how we do it: blow your pen out in game one, and you’ll pay game two.

whew! Rajai, you got me reaching for my nitro.
Nice call Kathy!!

texas stinks. let them get used to that sort of competition. we’ll get ’em.

1. The Lobster strikes out 10 in 5.2.
2. Fizzman has become really dependable.
3. Julio swings one wicked bat.
We won despite striking out 14 times, giving up seven walks, and leaving 12 men on base. That’s a big win. Kudos for the three M’s getting 9 hits, with Julio and his Bomb. Rags also had three knocks, and a stumble on the way to second. the Hunter walk was huge, especially with the fact that he is ofer for the series. Despite the mistakes, we take game 2 of the set. That’s why baseball is such a neat game. We really need to thank the Lobster for his effort in three games. He has good off speed stuff, and can become a true, crafty, Lefty. I’m sick of the New Mexico guy coming in and walking two of three batters. Hardy’s command was off tonight also. It’s shameful in a way that Mr. Fizz is a decent go to guy. Kudos to Joe. He might get his ERA down to 4.5 by season’s end. It will be very interesting to see how the Super Model throws tomorrow night.

epic comment! lol!!!

Excellent job by Lobstein. What an exciting win – those boys were pumped up, nice to see the excitement in the dugout. Miggy seems to be warming up to the DH role quite nicely, maybe he realizes it is for his own good at this point in time. Nice to see them mix it up and keep his bat in the lineup since he obviously likes hitting in this park. The strike zone was awful for both teams – such low strikes were called last night. Old Cokie sure has become Mr. Dependable for us – way to go Phil. And Nathan is also becoming much more dependable the last few weeks – good on him too.

Very good win! Coke used 9 pitches for the 4 outs, unreal! Where would these guys be without VMart and Julio?

if anyone wants to relisten to dan’s call in the 9th here it is: http://chirb.it/Dfc5bd

excellent – nothing like listening to him call a home run

i haven’t heard anything about Alex today…..7 day DL I am assuming

No DL with expanded rosters, unless they use the 60 day.

AH that’s why thanks

series is tied now at 7 a piece. would be nice to win the season series.

Evan, they need to just keep playing one game at a time and focus on the “w” today! Don’t worry about the Royals, Mariners or anybody else, just keep putting forth the 9 inning effort to win and the rest takes care of itself.

that’s fair.

Hoy vs. CLE: Kinsler 4, Hunter 9, Cabrera DH, V. Martinez 3, J. Martinez 7, Castellanos 5, Suarez 6, Holaday 2, Davis 8. Verlander 1.

i just took a look at salazars last 5 games. oof….we gotta get this guy tonight. plus I wanna see that bullpen again. lets keep the bats hot.

Devon Travis will have core surgery.

Is that the latest and greatest surgery. Never hear that term until Miggy and Justin now that term is everywhere.
