Saturday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Twins

Weekend 006

Second straight game out of the lineup for Rajai Davis, who appeared to be fine last night both in his pinch-running appearance and afterwards. Brad Ausmus said today that Davis is healthy; he just wants to get Martinez in the lineup for another day.

“He’s swung the bat pretty well,” Ausmus said pregame. “He’s gotten some hits. He’s dangerous. We’ve had a little trouble scoring runs. He’s got the ability to drive in runs.”

The Twins, meanwhile, give Sam Fuld a start in center field, batting in front of their big trio of Mauer, Willingham and Morales. Eduardo Escobar, meanwhile, looms again in the ninth spot, now with 22 of his 50 hits on the season for extra bases (ok, 20 of them are doubles).

Reminder: Today’s game is on Fox Sports 1, not Fox Sports Detroit.
