Kluber tied for second in K with Scherzer and Lester

Pretty bad Ab’s.

Sorry Smyly looks like crap. …takes a special talent to continue to walk batters that csnt even bat .200. He has no excuse he got plenty of rest.

Smyly just can’t help himself. ….

Throw to first

To 3b was beatter. Hi body was in direction of 3b and two outs

his body

better. Sorry, problems with the keyboard

Not good. RH are killing him and his body language shows frustration

Might want to introduce homeplate to Drew

Thanks. we’ll get Coke

Why is he still there?

Ausmus is smoking something. Along with Drew.
Tigers hitters look like crap too

nothing wrong with smokin somethin!

Sleep deprivation for Ausmus. Drew? he was off from the beginning

i’m starting to agree with you = coke is facing like his 5th batter

well get to the kluber guy – pen can hold this. bring in the lefties!

Guess it’s against the law for Tiger’s pitchers to throw strikes

Coke has enough troubles without Casty making another poor play behind him

ausmus sent coke out for another inning. i’m floored!

short bullpen

“HAH!” I angrily shout at that thought.

Romine earning his spot

Too bad. ….Castellanos couldn’t throw that ball. They didn’t give him an error but they should of.

At least we have Miguel. With Fielder he would have been sent to 2B

Ausmus! u must take credit for this!

Victor has more power as LH

The new rule interpretation works against the Tigers

I would have scored that a hit as well. Castellanos made a good play IMO. Unfortunate the throw was off but the kid is doing well defensively.
Phil Joke, on the other hand, throws an 0-2 meatball to rookie who clobbers the ball.
They keep holding out hope that he will learn how to become an ‘average” LHP. I just do NOT get the mentality of the front offic on this. If we were talking about someone who would “find” themselves and return to being an overpowering presence but honestly, they are keeping him around because they want a LHP who ccan be ordinary—ant that won’t ever happen.

He threw the ball eight feet high…..maybe guy still would of been safe but .. Couldn’t disagree more.

I can’t blame this game on Romine–actually enjoy watching him in the field, but we can’t have a Ray Oyler on this ball team. The reason being Alex Avila is not Bill Freehan, Rajai Davis is not Willie Horton.
You have a lot of pop like that in your lineup and you can suffer some inadequacy elsewhere.
Yes, Avila and Davis contributed tonight but they will never be able to contribute like the afore mentioned.
We can’t afford Romine in the lineup if he can’t get a ball out of the infield.
Give Worth a chance. if he fails then you hope romine can find his way or you open your pocket book.

I agree on that!

Well if Cody Allen is coming in he gave up 2 hits a few walks and 3 earned runs yesterday……can the tigers do anything against him?
Story of the night free passes with all the walks to the Indians who couldn’t hit themselves out of a paper bag right now and also 11 hits here in the 8th. Pretty bad pitching.

OK, boys, let’s end it right here!

Oh, for cripes sakes. 1,2,3 their out.

they’re out.

Well pitching let us down today big time. From the start to pretty much the end. Smyly is the only one who got any sleep last night and he pitched like he got 2 minutes of sleep. He’s gotta do better. Albuquerque not great either.
In my opinion pen is getting too much work…’s not only the innings that you pitch it’s the up and down and warming up. I hope it doesn’t come back to haunt us later in the season.
Can’t win ’em all.

One for the books . Get ready for Tuesday night . Get Coke some rest or hide him .

From the previous thread, the guy with the guitar was Rick Porcello. Unless there’s more than one guitar totin’ Tiger.

Tonight we never held the lead. First time that has happened in well a month. The last thirty days we have had a chance to win every game!! What a run. Go Tigers!!!

AlAl let the game “SLIDE” away.
He does that doesn’t he?
He has a good fastball that he simply just does not use enough.
