Saturday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Twins

Right-handed hitters are batting just .189 off Kyle Gibson this season, part of the reason behind 52-point gap in the lefty-righty splits for Gibson’s young career. Thus, Brad Ausmus puts an extra left-handed bat in the lineup, replacing Rajai Davis with Don Kelly.

The Twins, meanwhile, get Joe Mauer back in the lineup. He’s the designated hitter today, batting third. Eduardo Nunez, once known as the Yankees shortstop-in-waiting, is the left fielder. Jason Kubel, 3-for-6 off Max Scherzer, is off.
