Thursday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Astros

CoPa 007

It’s a lefty on the mound for the Astros, but it’s a day off for Torii Hunter, who went 0-for-6 against Dallas Keuchel last year. J.D. Martinez starts in right field and bats fifth with Hunter off, while Davis moves up to the leadoff spot and moves Ian Kinsler down. Bryan Holaday gets the catching duties, while Victor Martinez starts at first base.

The only Astro with more than one plate appearance against Drew Smyly is Alex Presley, who’s 1-for-2 with a strikeout against him.

Today’s game is an MLB Network broadcast if you’re not in Detroit or Houston. It’s also the Free Game of the Day on MLB.TV. So either way, you have to chance to catch it this afternoon. Or you can take the afternoon off, celebrate the break in the weather and catch the game in person.
