Wednesday’s lineups: Tigers at Yankees

I’m off today (actually, I’m not totally off, as I had to go to the airport to renew my rental car agreement), but here are the lineups for today’s game against the Yankees. It’s been raining on and off all morning across the Tampa Bay area, but the forecast suggests the skies should clear this afternoon.

Assuming this game gets going, you can see it live on MLB Network as well as on MLB.TV. Hopefully it gives you a little reminder of the warmer weather ahead up north. There’s a light at the end of that snowy, icy tunnel!

Not sure if there’s anything to it, but Ichiro Suzuki is starting against the Tigers in left field for the second time in six days. He has played in one game in between. This is his fourth game in the past week and a half as the Yankees try to find playing time this spring for several outfielders.

Showcasing Ichiro for Mr D?

Updated answer: Yes. Yankees are showcasing him, according to scouts.

I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, Jason. First there was rain, then it froze and 10 inches of snow piled on top of that and the power went out. But, the power is back on so I can look at pictures of people outside in the sun wearing short sleeved shirts….. even it its raining
Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!
