Wednesday’s lineups: Tigers at Astros

The forecast across Florida gets scary later in the day, but for now, the skies are just partly cloudy at Osceola County Stadium. It looks like a big crowd on the way as well.

Trevor Crowe, who spent part of last season in the Astros lineup, gets the first crack at left field today. Don Kelly, another candidate, is in right. Ezequiel Carrera, yet another candidate, is in center.  So all three candidates to enter the mix will get their at-bats against Lucas Harrell today. Daniel Fields and Tyler Collins are on the travel squad.

Hello Mr Beck. When you are tweeting on the game, please announce the score, every other tweet or so. Most of us aren’t in Florida with you. It’s the only way to get scores out of exhibition season, I think. Thanks so much, in advance for your insight and sharing!

cast is looking to be a defensive downgrade at 3B from cabby

bullpen looks good against the astros….finally some good news lol

The game was a lot of fun to watch. Max fell behind at times, but still pitched well. This team had a successful hit-and-run that was nice to see, and some good defensive plays (only one error isn’t bad in a ST game). Castellanos still hits the ball pretty solid, even when he makes an out (except the double-play ball, which happens). I still like the way the Tigers are shaping up this season.
