Friday’s lineups: Tigers vs. White Sox

Miguel Cabrera was originally in the starting lineup, and Jose Iglesias was set to make his Tigers debut at second base, a position where he has started only once in his Major League career. It took just a few minutes of batting practice to change that plan. With Cabrera will bothered by the abdominal strain, he was scratched from the lineup. Iglesias moved over to third, where he played quite a bit in Boston, and Ramon Santiago will start at second.
