Friday’s lineups: Tigers vs. Indians

Looks like Jim Leyland played some of the matchups today against Ubaldo Jimenez, starting Brayan Pena (5-for-7 against Jimenez) and not starting Omar Infante (3-for-16, three strikeouts).

May 26 to Jun 6 .150/.190/.175/.365 but maybe it is the BABIP of .176 that caused some of it.

(andy dirks numbers) ^^

Santiago 5 for 18 3 SO

Wow! RHP but LHB Kelly?

s/b NO LHB Kelly.

Kelly vs RHP:161.307.290.597. Last 14:154.421.154.575

Garcia vs RHP:381 .435 .524 .959. Last 7:357.412.357 .769

Kelly is a plus everywhere but hitting. Really too bad it’s that way. Made a dandy catch yesterday.

Yeah what a horrible thing he did! Arrest him! Think of the children!

Nine straight games against Central division rivals. First, Cleveland then @KC and @MN. Time to get busy. Tonight just be patient and take the walks he gives you. Of our first eight hitters only Torii does not have five hits against him.

according to game notes, Tigers and Indians have split Verlander’s 32 career starts between the teams. Indians have won 3 of last 5 since last season

Jimenez career is 2-6 6.65 at Comerica. has given up 8 HR on the season, 6 to lefties.

KC drafted Luke Farrell son of Boston manager in 6th rd. He’s a college Sr. KC made the pick right after Boston chose a HS OF.

According to Baseball America:

Conor Glassey @conorglassey

The #Tigers took 5 pitchers to start a draft in 1983, 1985 & 1995. Six in a row is a team record. #mlbdraft

Antonetti: “Clearly, we take these matters seriously and are disappointed whenever there is any negative attention brought to the Indians organization or one of our players.”
Well, “negative” is a relative term. :-) That dog must be awesome to hang with, though. “Like, Bow Wow dude.”

victimless crime hat 52% of american’s think shouldn’t be a crime. :/ he is guilty of making a dumb choice or two thats for sure tho.

Victimless? What about the dog they put the finger on? Somebody call PETA.

HA HA HA HA that’s pretty funny! But seriously, if they trained Brody to sign for the package they might have gotten away with it.

I’ve always said there’s nothing more valuable than a dog with good cursive handwriting.

Cleveland is 9 for 18 in save opportunities

Tigers 11 for 18 in save ops

I haven’t mentioned this around here, but I refer to the Indian organization’s annual fall “Geronimo!”. I get a pretty huge kick outta it

Hahaha! Nothing like a good laugh at the expense of our division rivals. So does anyone think he will get a suspension out of this. And if so how long?

For consumption there is no suspension the first time but treatment, the second time suspension. But he did not test positive.
Lincecum was not suspended in a similar situation

During the procedure he would go on bereavement list like Delmon Young

Ah i see. Ya delmon seems to be hitting a decent amount of homeruns. Seems like Ive been seeing him in the highlights alot lately.

BTW: Delmon hit a GWHR

The pieces are aligning

My man bondo. 6 strong innings against the bronx bombers. 3 hits 1 er. He held the 2 3 and 4 hitters hitless. Couldnt be happier for him. Great job bonderman. Heres to hoping this is the start of the rest of your career staying in the majors.
