Wednesday lineups: Tigers vs. Cardinals

Same as yesterday.

  1. Austin Jackson, CF
  2. Quintin Berry, LF
  3. Miguel Cabrera, 3B
  4. Prince Fielder, 1B
  5. Delmon Young, DH
  6. Brennan Boesch, RF
  7. Jhonny Peralta, SS
  8. Ramon Santiago, 2B
  9. Gerald Laird, C

P: Rick Porcello

I think the Skip is realizing how dangerous AJax-Berry can be. AS long as Berry keeps on getting on base, that is a great lineup. THe only danger is Berry trying to do too much with the fastballs he will see in front of Miggy. Keep it simple Q!

favorite line up, just want Avila in there when he gets healthy tomorrow and JV pitching. Wouldnt mind Dirks for Berry when he gets back but you have to find ways to get Berry in the game whether its late game or what. They are rolling right now, lets keep it up Ricky P

I agree totally, that’s our optimal look.
When Andy comes back I want to see dirks, young, boesch and Berry in a 4 man platoon for three spots – that way we keep a dangerous rotation of 4 very different players.

when andy comes back…..first we need to see improvement in his health…..his recovery has stalled.
sucks about VV…..prolly be going to the 15day dl right?

I like Berry batting 9th when Dirks gets back. Boesch DH, DY bench for PH

Wow! Same line-up two games in a row and with both Berry and Santiago.

This might be a ideal line up – however – boesch hasn’t hit that well the past week or month (.250-.260 BA with some power)….just sayin. With that being said, this is still the lineup I would have put out there today. I hope boesch does well tonight!
