Man I missed these boys yesterday! Eat’m UP Tigers!

Best team on the field, just like he said.

Lance Lynn 10-2, oh my. And the Tigers have the habit of losing the first game of a series lately. Can JV outduel Lynn?

Lynn was better earlier than he has been lately.

Well great start. Keep it up boys, no amount of runs enough. Tack ons!

And here we are in the 5 th. stopped.

That was an awful hit to Ramon.

Geez Quinten that was a huge freaking screw up! Not even a tricky catch.

Lots of stranded runners. Pretty disappointing.

Crap Valverde hurt now! Can’t catch a break! Hopefully it’s nothing too serious but it looks bad!

Things go better with Coke, I hope.

Great team win!!!

Bound to be a few minutes before we hear anything on Valverde.
The Berry drop was unfortunate, but he’s the only leftfielder we have that would have even gotten to that ball.
It was a good win, and the series opener finally.

Valverde out, which looks pretty obvious, means that Benoit would be the closer. That’s fine, but now we have to replace Benoit in the 8th. Fortunately, Coke has looked very sharp as of late.
Our infield has tightened up considerably. One guy can make the entire unit work more smoothly.

If Benoit is the closer. Dotel, Coke in the eight. Villareal in the 7th (or Below).
Berry? Errors are part of the game. Is his 1rst ever in MLB.

That was an error by Quintin for sure. But I wonder where anyone except Jackson would have been on that play…… Maybe not so close. Quintin got to it quickly on a good route and just choked on the catch. It happens. I hope he doesn’t perseverate for too long over the miff. I know I probably would though. However no damage done. No harm to JV’s era. Hope Jose’s injury is not a bad one. Man the injury bug won’t go away.

You beat me to the comment Rich.

And that guy would be?…..

It’s a rhetorical question.

It’s always funny, in a good way, when someone like C-Mo seems to suddenly discover Santiago and say he should be in there everyday. People look at stats till they’re blue in the face but you have to observe the impact Ramon has on the entire team when he’s out there. It’s been going on for years. You won’t find that in numbers.
