Dirks to DL, Young called up
The long-awaited Matt Young move has finally happened. With the Tigers bench shortened once again, Detroit put Andy Dirks on the 15-day disabled list Sunday morning with right Achilles tendinitis. The move is retroactive to May 31, so he’ll be eligible to be activated on June 15.
