Good and Good. MCab can use another day or 2 and getting DMan eased back in as DH is very encouraging.
This DH situation may well be one of the best in baseball this year. Especially for a team like ours. I like the flexibility and I like the fact that you can give guys a blow by alternating them as DH

Somewhat surprised Worth isn’t playing as surely either he or Inge are the only positional players to resolve.
With Laird the only regular with less opportunties than Danny, you must feel you are on the outer when you are given less AB’s than even the forgotten man.

Oh, happy day, We get to watch on FSD. Welcome back Mario and Rod.

I think Belliard needs to work with Prince a little bit. You know Miggy would have had that.

Miggy was a pretty darn good 1st sacker though. Especially on ground balls.
You folks are lucky—I can’t get MLB.com for another month (lack of bandwidth). Gonna be hard not seeing the games.
Max getting roughed up today.
Wonder if there will be major news tomorrow.

I don’t have MLB.com either. This game is on Fox Sports Detroit. Miggy always seemed to be in the right place at the right time when a ball was hit towards first or between 1st and 2nd, he’d just knock it down with his body or it would go straight in his glove. I think he was underestimated at 1st base by the experts and stat heads.

Will try to answer any questions about any specific plays, Dan, until you’re back up. I hate it when I get blacked out of one game. An entire month would drive me nuts.

This minor league team the Nationals sent over was too much for the Tigers to handle tonight. Pretty pathetic.

Even in spring training!

Is It troubling that the Tigers are swinging at so many bad pitches this late in the spring?

I think they’re getting bored. This is the time they hate the most, that last week.
