Sunday: Tigers vs. White Sox

Not a whole lot of good numbers for the Tigers against John Danks, including 1-for-8 from Brennan Boesch. The one exception is Magglio Ordonez, who’s 14-for-23 off Danks. He’s in the lineup for a fourth consecutive game.

Magglio, for what it’s worth, says his ankle is feeling good, like he can play every day now.

lets get started now and win this thing

Well Danks is doing a number on us all right. Makes it double tough on Max. Can’t make a single mistake. Max does tend to give up the long ball so it would be pretty nice to see us cash in when we have a coule of guys on.

Another nice victory.
BTW, Dirks is hammering the ball in Toledo. Sizemore too.
Gonzlaez has pitched 2 games, w innings and struck out 6 batters. HUH? How does that happen?
I guess there is a difference between the minors and the majors.
Nice job Max.

I don’t recall Scherzer throwing Dunn anything other than fastballs. That’s the way to pitch him.
The Sox are going to have to get better outfield play if they want to contend. They’re giving up extra outs and extra bases.
We might have Jackson back in form. Next Ordonez.
Nice defensive game by Peralta.

The best at bat for WS today, is in his 44 birthday

Nice – two shutouts two days in a row! I love it!

Makes this blog site a much happier place when we start winning! Tremendous pitching the last few days, just when I was getting ready to throw Penny away. And the hitting is starting to pick up for most of the guys. I love when the guys prove me wrong. My love of the Tigers is rubbing off on my kids – my 6 and 4 year old are starting to sit and watch the games with me, and my 6 year old when up in the middle of the night will ask if the Tigers won after she went to bed.

way to go guys, we LOVE beating up on the White Sox.
