Thursday: Tigers at Braves

If you decided to make today one of your Tigers road games for Spring Training, you’re winning. If you found a way to watch the game on TV today, you don’t get the sunshine, but you’re still winning. For a road Spring Training game, there are a lot of regulars making the trip. So many guys stay up by Disney World anyway that it’s a shorter trip than going to Lakeland.

You also get Chipper Jones playing third base for Atlanta.

I think our OF situation is a positive dilemma. Thomas and Wells have impressed me early and Boesch still has a lot of power from the left. I think Thomas has the edge now, as long as he keeps within himself at the plate (ie keep the stroke short).
The one guy I cannot shake is Will Rhymes. I try to dismiss that guy as a fluke, not enough power, etc. but he just gets the job done. I am getting the feeling he will start at 2B until Guillen returns. And from this lineup (from what you can take from ST) I think Leyland is leaning towards him.
