Tuesday: Tigers vs. White Sox (Game 1)

Both Johnny Damon and Danny Worth are feeling better today, so they’re in the lineup for the day game. Damon said he could play the outfield if needed, and initally thought he would be playing in the outfield before Leyland gave Jeff Frazier a shot in left.

Am I the first one to comment today? Maybe so since the batting practice game is not going at all well right now. What happened to that pitcher Porcello who was doing so well since coming back from Toledo? I can understand why no one else is commenting. There is nothing left to say. The season is lost. DD has a big job ahead of him to get this team back to some kind of respectability. Number one job is a new manager and coaches.

Inge will be back soon, as will Guillen. If they continue to play the way they have lately, hopefully that will convince DD that it is not the injuries that are causing the problem. I am sad that I will not have to make the tough choice this year between watching Tigers games and football. They might as well finish last so they can get a better draft pick…
