Guillen begins swinging a bat
Carlos Guillen said his aching right shoulder felt much better Saturday, good enough that he was expected to start hitting off a tee as he begins baseball activities.
Guillen, on the 15-day disabled list with shoulder inflammation, has been doing strenghtening exercises on his shoulder. Still no timetable for when he might be back, but the fact that he’s swinging a bat again should accelerate the process quite a bit.
