Okay, we’ve gotten completely away from what made us successful in the past week. We’re standing around waiting for the hitters to do something instead of pushing the issue. Come on Leyland, you tired? This is a pathetic display so far.

Advice to Galarraga: throw Mauer something different.

I’ll say one thing for Ryan Perry. When he has his control, as he did during most of his spring training appearances, he is The Man.

Lacklustre effort. Laird is an automatic out right now and does not seem to be doing anything right with the bat.

Not much else to say. Lucky we had good pitching against Cleveland. Bats are still still anaemic.

Speaking of Laird, wonder why he was having such a hard time holding onto the Perry pitches?

Speaking of Laird, wonder why he was having such a hard time holding onto the Perry pitches? Rod Allen (Tiger T.V anchor) said he thinks there may be something wrong with Laird’s hand. I have not heard anything more, and watching tonight he seemed ok. I know he is getting the next (2) days off,but that has nothing to do with his hand, or does it?
