Tigers vs. Nats

It’s back to a more regular lineup for the Tigers (outfield excluded) now that they’re back to Major League competition with the Nationals coming to town. Not only is Ryan Raburn the center fielder of the day, but he’ll bat leadoff. Marcus Thames gets another start in left.

I’ll try to keep a running Twitter as the game goes along.

Jason, have you heard if JL will give Alexis Gomez any time in CF? I would expect not, but the fact they want a backup CF and it wouldn’t hurt to have a LHB makes me a bit curious.

Alexis did play a few games out there for Detroit and played over 20 games there in ’07 in the Rockies farm system.

It seems possible, but unlikely at this point. They want to get a look at Raburn, Clevlen and Wells there.

the two games next week in jupiter, any ideas who would be traveling?
