It's Opening Day …

and Neifi Perez gets booed — twice, albeit lightly. The second time he gets booed as the potential winning run. Not sure if the Ramon Santiago Fan Club made the trip to the opener or not.

First readings on Zumaya

Those days of Joel Zumaya hitting 107 miles per hour on the radar gun at spring training are over. He topped out at 100 mph twice in the seventh inning and was more often at 97-99. No curveballs or changeups until the eighth inning.

By the way, after Zumaya hit 107 on Friday, Fernando Rodney said Zumaya joked that wanted to try to hit 110.
