Random offseason link
For those of you who had different takes on Jeff Brantley on Baseball Tonight — and judging from the posts during the season, I know you’re out there — he’s off to the Reds broadcasting team. It’s funny how much the broadcasting teams have changed in Cincinnati, with Marty Brennaman as the constant, especially for those who would tune into WLW at night as kids the way folks elsewhere would follow the Tigers on WJR.
On a completely different note, the weather the last couple days has diluted the argument for playing the World Series earlier. Face it, the weather here is basically random from mid-October into November.
