It’s being described as inflammation in the elbow. MRI results Saturday revealed no further damage. He won’t throw at all for a week to 10 days, then he’ll work his way back into pitching shape. There’s no guarantee he’ll pitch again before the Triple-A season ends, but Tigers head athletic trainer was pretty confident at this point that he will.
