Dmitri to Erie

For those who haven’t heard, Dmitri Young will report to Double-A Erie for a two-game rehab assignment. He’s expected to play one game at DH, the other at 1B. Assuming all goes well, he’ll then rejoin the team in Minnesota.

Good news at Triple-A

Three scoreless innings from Roman Colon in his first game back, two more scoreless innings from Matt Mantei in the Mud Hens’ win at Indy:

Roman Colon made his first start for Toledo afterbeing activated from the disabled list yesterday. The right-hander
showed no ill effects from his biceps injury, topping 95 mph with his
and allowing only one hit over three innings.

"I felt pretty good today," Colon said. "My arm is coming along. I just wanted to get out there and pitch."
